This is a beautiful love song, dating from 1956, sung by the King of Rock 'n' Roll (yes, that's Elvis in a jacket and tie!). When taken to a karaoke bar in Tokyo, I "sang" it in the style of this rendition (warmer and more sincere than the one on my Elvis Presley Greatest Hits CD).

Yesterday in Shibuya Station (one of the busiest stations in Tokyo), a monkey showed up there and the authorities tried to catch it. It was quite a scene.
I first learned about this from a BBC broadcast, which starts a minute or so earlier and shows the monkey much better. Go to the URL

This is a man's view, looking back to a time when life was simpler and happier.

This song is about a woman's first love (with adult passion). The words are more colorful than in the usual songs of the era.

This song has an infectious strong pulse. From 1964, sung by Martha and the Vandellas, Motown (Motor-town = Detroit) USA

This is a favorite song of mine: "You've lost that loving feeling", sung by the Righteous Brothers in 1965. A guy senses that his girl is losing interest in him.
